Self-adhesive waterproof membrane: Bondsure P-1 is a combination of high density polyethylene film and a self-adhesive rubber/bitumen compound.It is a high performance waterproof membrane for use on foundation walls, plaza decks, green roofs, inverted roofs and steep-slope roofs. Features Easy to handle and apply. Cold applied--- no heating plant required, eliminates fire hazard. Flexible--- accommodates minor settlement and shrinkage movement. Self-sealing--- full continuity at overlaps, rubber/bitumen formulation allows self-healing of small punctures. Double release liner--- keeps the surface of the membrane from contamination. Wet applied--- originally adhered to watered or green concrete substrate by cement grout, quick to install and safe for site workers, occupants and environment. Performance properties Surface HDPE Thickness 1.0 mm Tensile strength 130N/50mm min Elongation 450% Lap adhesion 2.0 N/mm min Peel adhesion 1 5N/mm min Low temperature flexibility:No crack at -20 centigrade when rolling 180 degree around a R20mm-stick within 3 seconds Resistance to hydraulic pressure:No penetration in 120min under 0.2 Mpa (20m hydrostatic head) Contractor guidance Prime concrete and masonry surface with primer by roller or spray.The primer must be dry before Bondsure P-1 is applied. Consider a double layer of membrane in detail areas. Brush the membrane onto the surface to exclude trapped air and ensure overall bond. Side laps must be a minimum of 90mm and end laps a minimum of 60mm. A wet application is recommended when the substrate is wet.Apply cement on smoothed substrate and press the membrane onto the surface to avoid sharp evaporation and get ideal curing.
