The small foot print permits to easily place this extraordinary cnc sink cut out machine even in the smalles work shop. With great character, it performs drilling, grinding, profiling and polishing (oval, round, square or other shapes) like a big cnc sink cut out machine. One can manufacture tables within dimensions of 750 x 600 mm in different shapes, finished with any edge profile. Additionally, the machine can write and engrave bas-relief. The programming is kept simple, intuitive and very practical at any stage. The open structure receives slabs even longer than 3500 mm.

KRONOS is a 5/6 axis interpolated milling/work center machine with automatic tool change. It is available in the version with a Z axis stroke of 600 mm or with a Z axis stroke of 800 mm.
It is one of a kind machine as it combines the typical features of a milling cutter and those of a work center/contouring machine. Another optional outfit is the I.T.C.? system that corrects the natural tapering of the cut by compensating the high pressure water jet through the Numerical Control. The I.T.C.? system guarantees the realization of top quality products. When the compensation of the I.T.C.? system is running, the water jet is also directed against the advance direction so as to minimize the so-called “tail effect”, thus reducing the acceleration and deceleration ramps near the corners for a faster and more economical cutting cycle.
The optional KMT Streamline PRO pump with a maximum pressure of 6200 bar can be supplied as an alternative to the KMT Streamline pump of 4.130 bar. With 6200 bar, other conditions being equal, the cutting speed increases remarkably and the cutting cost per linear metre is cut down.
Head with 5 interpolated axes for inclined cutting required, for instance, to obtain the 45° grooves. C axis with 450° rotation and A axis with +/- 69° inclination. This device can be equipped with ITC system for automatic jet tapering compensation and with continuous rotation.

The movement accuracy of each single machine is tested and checked through laser and Renishaw ball bar test.
The walls of the tank are made of stainless steel, while its bottom consists of a steel plate 8 mm thick.
The axes movements are through hardened helical racks and pinions (Alpha Wittestein, Germany) and linear slideways with preloaded bearings (Bosch Rexroth).
WaterCad? is the software specially developed for the 2D processing; it generates simply and quickly any cutting path with a variety of options: automatic looping and tags insertion, automatic standard cut, small bridges for a one-run cut.
