Piedra Maragata
Quartzite slabs produced in shades of gray and compact oxide, widely used in the construction of the rural area operator. They are classified by size, thickness between 2 and 6 cm. It consists of quartz (70%), Phyllosilicate (20%) and iron oxides (10%).
It is a metamorphic rock of the lower Ordovician (Serie Los Cabos), which operates two quarries that benefit a very vertical layer several meters thick.
