stone has geologically evolved over a period of 500-800 million years. Thus it has a very high compaction and qualifies as a high grade metamorphic

stone serves as a unique building material, one which is absolutely durable, truly natural and very versatile. It can be used for various applications such as roofing, landscaping, paving, interior flooring and cladding, exterior cladding, pools & decks, counters, fireplaces etc.
It is a non-porous, rock solid
stone that is incredibly uniform and inert. It is also extremely resistant to weathering and chemical reactions. The
stone is remarkably durable and remains unaffected by extreme temperature changes. It never loses its luster, not even in UV light. There is virtually no water absorption that ensures high stain resistance and low maintenance. It is also highly abrasion resistant and fire and heat resistant. Due to its high compaction and hardness, large slabs are available without fissures and cracks. A combination of the above strong properties makes this
stone extremely favorable for exterior use.
It is available in blocks and the buyer can customize it as per requirement to slabs, tiles or cut to order. It comes in natural black and gray color, and the appearance and finish can be altered by different surface treatments. It is a most preferred color and
stone of Europe, North America and cold weather countries.
It could be changed in various forms viz. honed (a smooth dull face surface), shotblast (pitted surface like sandblast), antique (waves on surface), flamed, natural split (with hammer & chisel only), hand cut etc.
