Stone Group Egypt, and Algabeth SG Romania. The mother company is located in Thessaloniki (Northern Greece) and is a vertical unit of quarrying, cutting and processing many kinds of marbles from all over the world. It specializes and has exclusivity in pure white materials from Greece.
The company was founded in 1985 as MARMOR SG S.A. and by 1990 had acquired its own installations. By the year 2000 a new ultra-modern factory was put into operation and this has opened the way for the company’s expansion, both in Greece and abroad. For the past few years
STONE GROUP INTERNATIONAL is considered to be one of the most steadily and rapidly growing companies in Greece.
The company’s installations covers 12.000m2 of buildings in its 50.000m2 site in Thessaloniki Greece, and also owns a cutting unit of 2.000m2 in its 20.000m2 site in Ploesti Romania. With continuous investments, it has secured the latest and most modern mechanical
equipments. The company has all the certified procedures for quality control and safe transportation of its products (ISO).
STONE GROUP INTERNATIONAL nowadays exports to more than 50 countries all over the world and employs more than 170 people. The company controls 60% of the production of pure white marbles (Thassos – Sivec), owns 5 quarries and the largest reserve of material, which gives us the flexibility to undertake the production and deliver in the shortest possible times even the greatest and most specialized projects.
