Four Generations of Determination Almost a century ago, Giovanni Briguglio, Sr. began working on the massive blocks of Bianco Statuario Marble in Carrara, Italy. In 1932, he and his family moved back to his hometown of Messina, and shortly thereafter, the Briguglio’s reputation in the marble industry made its mark. They were known for their exquisite, hand-chiseled craftsmanship of statues, marble floors,
countertops, staircases and all things marble.
Inspired by two generations of
stone masters and determined to expand the family business, Giovanni G. Briguglio, a third-generation Briguglio, moved to the United States and founded
Stone Trade International Marble Granite, Inc. in 1993. Giovanni initially imported and sold containers of
natural stone to distributors nationwide. Committed to flourish and continue the family tradition, he opened a 22,000 square foot facility in West Palm Beach.
Today,
Stone Trade International is owned and managed by Giovanni G. Briguglio, his wife Josephine, and son Domenic. The
