Hello!   My name is Fredrik Petersson and I work for the swedish architecture firm White Arkitekter. We are currently working on a large restoration project in central Stockholm (unforunately I'm not allowed to say which one), where we refurbish an older classisist building with lots of natural stone in both facades and detail work. We're looking for suitable stones to work with, since the original swedish limestone used in the project is no longer being produced (a limestone from Gotland called Hejdeby) - but has a very distinct look with a large varied pattern and many fossils. So far we have yet to find a swedish stone that matches what we're looking for - so now we're starting to look beyond borders.
