Hi, I am the stone specialist/stone scientist engaged for the largest paving project in Australia. One of the stones selected for use is the Australian equivalent to Ubatuba called Verde Austral. There could be problems with supply of the Australian stone. I have been asked to obtain a quote from a Brazilian company for about 10 containers of Ubatuba charnockite (green granite) for 2014. The specifications are roughly 400 x 800 x 40mm thick with flamed upper surface. I hear that there have been some production problems with Ubatuba the last few years and also availability of this stone. Is this true? Dr Hans
