Company Description
Mosaicworld is the registered trading name of Independent Stone Services Pty Ltd.
The company has been incorporated in 1996 primarily to design and manufacture applied mosaics for the building industry through a network of ceramic tile retailers or direct orders from large developers.
We have served the East coast from Cairns to Sydney. We have also manufactured mosaics for New Zealand, Papua New Guinea and Fiji.
The range was wide. From the small 100x100mm spotters to the large 2700mm x2700mm square panels or 2600diameter medallion.
When there were lesser demand for traditional mosaic tiles, Mosaicworld started to manufacturing pool coping and step tread tiles for modern homes with outdoor living areas and swimming pools. This has become our speciality, with flexibility to produce all styles and varites of stone finish for individual projects.
We have invested and “employed” a semi automatic profiling machine with standard and custom designed profiling wheels that can handle a wide varity of profiling.
Also there was - and still is - a strong demand for professional quality cutting in large quantities.
The Ceramic Tile manufacturers are making larger and larger size of tiles these days. However some times there is a demand for smaller size for the project. With our fully automatic machine we can cut tiles to any size in a high precision.
