Uma Impex is the largest Slate, Lime Stone and Quartzite producers andexporter from South India. We own a large number of quarries in South India, producing wide-ranging varieties of natural stone in different colors and surface designs. We also offer various finishes (natural, gauged, polish etc) to help the tastes of different customers. As we have a large number of quarries wide across Indian peninsula, we established our processing units next to our quarries, so that our customers get the best possible price. We ship directly from our quarries, not from our Head Quarters! We are in the slate business for over 70 years (since the inception of writing slate!). With the increasing demand from our customers, we later we moved onto this ‘design slate’ production. We still own many writing slate quarries and are leading exporters there as well! We never forget our roots!! We employ highly experienced staff at every stage of production to ensure the highest quality control. Whatever may be the requirements of our customers, our skilled staff always takes care of their needs. We offer wide range of colors, sizes and finishes. Some color slates are produced exclusively from our quarries (LeyLac etc). We export to different corners of world, including US, UK and Singapore. Till recently we limited our direct sales to the US market, despite many of our Indian customers ship to the US.
