"Vadjen Kamena" is quarrie owner for the most famous croatian colors of limestone.We producing three colors of limestones as white,ivory and brown. Monthly we produce 200 cubic meter of blocks.
Vađenje kamena Selca was established in 2003 and is engaged in extracting of architectural and building stone in the Petrada Hum quarry. The quarry is located on the eastern side of the island of Brač, on a hill called Hum, in the municipality of Selca. It lies at an altitude of 350 m, only about 600 metres from State Road 113 (Supetar-Sumartin).
The island of Brač is famous for its long tradition of quarrying architectural and building stone. Some of the world’s most famous monuments, built with the remarkable stone from the island of Brač, stand as proof of its supreme quality: the White House in Washington, Diocletian’s Palace in Split, the New Palace in Vienna, the Parliament of Austria, the Parliament of Hungary, and many others. „Vađenje kamena Selca“ continues the longstanding tradition of ecologically sustainable quarrying of Brač stone, providing our customers with high quality multipurpose materials, constantly emphasizing sustainable development, professionalism and long-term cooperation with our clients.
