Shakiba Stone consists of two sub-companies. Shakiba Mining Company, which focuses on mining and extraction, and Mahdiar Stone Company, which focuses on cutting and polishing. Since both Shakiba Mining and Mahdiar Stone have their own respective focus, this enables each branch of the company to efficiently deliver their goods to customers.
History:
In the 1960s, Mr. Javad Hajjarzadeh, an Iranian entrepreneur, established the first marble stone factory in Iran called Vatan factory. Soon it carried out large scale projects, such as supplying and laying stone at the former Iranian monarchy’s homes: the Golestan Royal and Saad Abad Palaces. In the 40 years since its foundation, the company has become one of the leaders in the stone industry in Iran. This business is now operating under the name of MahdiarStone as well as Shakiba Stone in Iran.
During the company’s tenure, the company has used the expertise and manufacturing tools of the Italian factories, BRA and Barsanti, and the German company, Winter.
