The machine can perfectly calibrate all sizes of granite tiles and does not require any replacement in the diamond tools when the tile size is changed. The LM RS models are marble polishing machines with mobile bridge, where the transversal movement of the bridge integrates with the circular motion of the spindles to ensure excellent polishing quality through plates equipped with abrasive or diamond tools. The LM RS machines are available in different width sizes and several versions, depending on the number of the spindles installed.

Continuous belt polishing machine for granite
This machine has been designed for gauging and polishing 650 mm max. wide strips with trimmed ends. SUPERNOVA B065GV is equipped with operational elements that have been individuated, rendered efficient and reliable as a result of an experience which has matured throughout the technological evolution of more than 1000 machines manufactured in the past 25 years by PEDRINI. SUPERNOVA B065GV, that has been upgraded with exclusive technology, achieves top level productivity, quality and flexibility whilst reducing consumption, maintenance and depreciation.
Exclusive polishing heads drive technology that reduces energy and abrasive consumption and eliminates maintenance. The polishing heads are operated through patented ROTOR direct drive spindles assembled in the centre of the mobile beam and equipped with an easy-to-use individual device for the precision centring. The direct drive, that works without transmission belts and grooved shafts, avoids radial stress on the spindle bearings, increases their life significantly whilst saving about 15% of the absorbed energy, eliminates maintenance. All spindle components have the centre of gravity on the spindle rotation axis and their considerable weight, that includes the motors and is controlled by counter-pressure, stabilizes the polishing heads action. Owing to this, ROTOR spindles ensure optimal operating conditions thus enabling the heads to achieve the best polishing quality with the lowest tools consumption.
Exclusive polishing technology for granite. The polishing action is performed by Pedrini patented heads, that drive the abrasive supports in a sequential way with high frequency pendular motion. The heads mechanism comprises high precision large dimension components that operate in oil bath at very low speed with no components wear in time. This manufacturing technology, that reduces to zero the clearance in the supports pendular motion, realizes abrasives maximum efficiency and eliminates the maintenance. Each Pedrini patented head hosts 7 abrasives rather than the traditional 6 thus increasing considerably the line potential.
Exclusive technology for processing width fast adjustment to allow for maximum production flexibility. - The processing width adjustment is performed very rapidly through a mechanism that moves both guides simultaneously for the machine entire length. - The guides symmetric displacement is driven through right and left hand threaded rods that operate into oil bath shielded housings. - Beam transversal stroke is quickly adjusted, even while machine is moving, through an handle located in a comfortable frontal position. - Two mechanical indicators read on a metering scale the amplitude of the beam transversal stroke.

CONTINUOUS BELT POLISHING MACHINE FOR MARBLE, TRAVERTINE AND STONES. All components have undergone structural inspection through the FEM (Finite Element Method). The structural component surfaces are protected with three coats applied after sandblasting, while the small parts undergo a cataphoresis corrosionproofing treatment.

Operation
Automatic cycle machine for the polishing of alternative materials by means of polishing heads mounted along the axis of a mobile beam. Slabs profile continuous reading at the entry for the automatic programming of the heads rising/lowering and for the programming of the beam stroke according to the slabs width. Set of no-contact sensors at the entry.
Conveyor system
One motorized roller, one idle roller, a conveyor belt with inverter for the conveyor speed.
Spindle group Rotor for polishing head
Vertical movement driven by means of a pneumatic system, with adjustable pressure and counterpressure. Spindle group realized with a single body, which includes the coaxial motorization and pressure control. Device for automatic lifting when belt stops and device for the head stop when tool is worn out.
Polishing head
Pedrini Antishock head, with 7 tilting arms for tools having Fickert connection. Covers for the heads access manufactured with composite material, crashing proof, oxidation proof, ergonomics shaped.
Mobile beam
Mobile beam moved by means of systems pinion/rack, driven by means of motors controlled with inverter. Sliding in oil bath by means of rollers on tempered steel guides, covered by means of fixed safety guards. Mobile front guard with automatic rising system for the abrasives replacing.
Controls
Controls by means of a Computer with graphical interface, touch screen managed.

This machine can be made to 3/4 heads.It is installed with big power which especially suitable for artificial stone calibration. It has high efficiency and good flatness finish. Conveyer racks can be made to match on request. The motor power can be customized by customer. The conveyer belt and beam movement adopt frequency changer and the grinding head adopt the two sliding panel structure to increase its stability. The elevation of the grinding heads use mini programs to adjust the micro precision grinding.It is suitable for marble, granite, quartz and various kinds of artificial stone calibration.
