Conglomerate Stone is strongly related to sandstone. Conglomerate is actually a type of sandstone, although it may not be technically correct to say so. Conglomerate is composed of clasts larger than 2 mm (sand is composed of grains smaller than 2 mm).

Yes, but the properties of conglomerate rock depend on its composition. Conglomerate Stone can be found in any color and may be either hard or soft. Hard Conglomerate Stone may be cut and polished to make dimension stone.
