Graniti Maurino SA has been active since 1894 in the extraction of Swiss natural stones (granite and marble).
The company works on 10 quarries, 9 of granite and 1 of marble, the only marble quarry in Switzerland (the Cristallina marble). All the stones are extracted and processed in Switzerland, more precisely in Ticino (south of Switzerland), and are then marketed all over the world with proprietary trademarks.
The processing takes place in Biasca inside covered manufacturing plants on an area of 40'000 m2. In Riveo - Cevio the granite of the Maggia Valley is cut.
With the plants operating 7 days a week all year round, larger jobs can be handled adequately.
Graniti Maurino SA is currently capitalized at 1.3 million francs and is managed by Marzio Maurino (1941) with his son arch. dipl. Cesare Maurino (1967).
