Doğa Madencilik, which was originally involved in managing marble quarries and manufacturing marble slabs & tiles, has since started to be operational in the granite sector as a result of a decision adopted in early 1990's because of the problems the marble sector was going through. In line with the said change in the scope and purpose of the Company, granite slabs were imported in 1990-1993 to the first ever indoor factory on a property covering 150.000 square meters in Gebze in order to sell to work shops as well as to manufacture cut-to-size products. At the end of 1993, in compliance with the decision adopted to increase the investment and to convert into integrated production, Doğa started to cut granite blocks with its very own gangsaws and to polish their slabs. Today, Doğa Madencilik is manufacturing all kinds of granite products needed by the sector in compliance with international standards in its indoor facilities covering 30.000 square meters, and by adopting the principle of customer satisfaction and quality with its modern machinery and equipment. The company ranks among the leaders in the Turkish and European granite manufacturers.
