Brothers Ahlgrens Marmorinredningar AB is a family business, founded in 1926 by Carl-Oscar Ahlgren. Today, the company is run by the fourth generation, the twin brothers Kenn and Pierre, in true Ahlgrensanda and a new generation of stone shakers is ready to handle in the future.
In 1926, the originating company started in a workshop with ground floor behind Liseberg in Gothenburg. The company was named C.O. Ahlgrens Marble industry.
In 1946 Carl-Oscar built a new workshop in Mölndal. The business was taken over in the late 50's by his sons.
In 1960, Lennart Ahlgren, Kenn and Pierre's father entered the company after completion of military service. Kenn and Pierre were introduced to the profession at an early age and have learned the craft from scratch.
In 1994, Lennart and his sons moved the company to Herrljunga - Remmenedal where the family was resident, and the business is still being conducted there.
From the beginning everything was done by hand with simple tools. Today we have a state-of-the-art facility with the market's best computer-controlled machines. This, together with four-generation experience, ensures that the customer gets the best performance of our stone work from us.
We have a long craft tradition to keep alive and we do it with pride.
