Kelstone Sdn Bhd was established on February 14, 1996 as a company to develop mineral-based industries in Kelantan. Kelstone Sdn Bhd is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Kelantan State Economic Development Corporation (PKINK). At the beginning of the company's establishment, Kelstone Sdn Bhd was renamed Majorank Sdn Bhd and was renamed to Kelstone Sdn Bhd on 21 July 1996 and remains until now.
