Margraf history - former Industria Marmi Vicentini - started in 1906 in the Vicenza province with the initial exploitation of some quarries in Chiampo spreading soon to the Prealpi Venete. From the beginning, the company has remarkably focused on technological innovation and research, especially developing a natural and close collaboration with architects from all over the world. These two important competitive pluses represent the basis of a constantly growing experience developed since 1935 thanks to Gaetano Marzotto’s management, leading - after the birth of Margraf Spa in the eighties- to the merger into the Gruppo Linea Marmo (in 1999).
