Maris Natuursteen is a family business with a rich tradition. In 1985 Jos Maris started with the sale of cobblestones in Itegem (municipality of Heist-op-den-Berg). His son Peter is dedicated to the placement of the cobblestones. In 1995 father and son beat the hands together and work continued under the name Jos Maris.
The company is very soon a huge growth. The activities and expand the number of employees is constantly increasing. Soon looking forward to a new, larger location. That comes in 1998 at the industrial park of Heist-op-den-Berg. This creates an immediate major breakthrough. The company Jos Maris begins with the import of various stone. The growth is remarkable. With a wide range and a large team of installers can own Maris focus on public works.
In 2003, the activities grouped in two different firms, both Jos Natuursteen.Jos Maris Maris Maris and the other is in re gespecialiserd cobbled stone placement, Maris Stone focuses on new materials. Maris belongs with the supply, quality and combination of sales and installation to the absolute top Belgian.
