Traveling throughout Mexico in 1982, Nina Long was mesmerized by the beautiful, multicolored tiles used in historic and contemporary buildings. Nina found her way to a manufacturer who introduced her to their centuries-old method of creating handmade tiles. Of course, she knew right away that she had to bring these to the U.S. Market. Eventually, Wholesale Tile & Accessories was born.
After years of successful partnership with Industrias Aguayo, the manufacturer of Aguayo Tiles, Nina decided it was time to enjoy the fruits of her labor, so Aguayo acquired her tile operations and Wholesale Tile by Aguayo was born.
Today we still work with the same passion that Nina did and we remain committed to finding small artisan factories, and working with craftsmen and artists to develop new and unique tile lines. Our new warehouse, located in Miami, enables easy distribution to fine tile showrooms across the country, providing accessibility for designers and architects.
