Cotta Sandstone
COTTAER SANDSTEIN -gwg- is an extremely fine-grained gray-white to yellow Elbsandstone without the possibility of colour selection. The colour alterations may correspond to the stratifications or be cloudy-nodular, lively and irregular. Its typical marbled structure arises from the stored undulating clay films in the stratum.
Finished architectural elements from this material are used in exteriors as well as interiors.

Façades, including column and pillar coverings, window and door frames, split-faced and column blocks including roofing slabs, interior architectural elements, prominent masonry work in restoration and new buildings.
