Machinery Function Features
Frame is made up of:
- 4 steel structural work columns, connected by sturdy crosspieces at the top
- Bridge support guides with interchangeable sliding surface protected against seepage and dust by "gooseneck" labyrinths.
- Augers with diameter of 80 mm for vertical movement.
Vertical movement of the bridge-guides is controlled by a brushless motor to guarantee regular and precise movements.
Bridge is in thick steel structural work, double crosspiece, counterdeflection machined to guarantee perfectly flat cuts; the bridge movement takes place on sliding blocks in oil bath and is controlled by precision gearings for perfect positioning.
During the cutting stage, the bridge is firmly locked by oleodynamic brakes. Transversal movement of the bridge is controlled by a brushless motor to guarantee regular and precise movements.
Spindle Carriage closed box structure extremely rigid to avoid vibrations during the cutting operation.
- Version "1300" uses disks with a maximum diameter of 1300 to obtain strips with height upto 45.8 cm (1.5 feet); it is possible to fit up to 32 disks to obtain 12 mm thickness.
- Version "1600" allows to obtain strips with height up to 61 cm using "step cutting" system with disks diameter 1000 and 1600. It is possible to fit up to maximum 14+14 disks to obtain 12 mm thick strips.
Motorized block bench controlled by low voltage motor, to comply with accident prevention rules.
Control Panel easy to read, allows fast entry of all the processing parameters. The operation cycle, fully automatic, is controlled by a PLC logic.
The machine, equipped with an automatic unloader with suction cups, allows to have a fully automatic working cycle, from strip cutting to stocking on pallets.
The intervention of the operator is required only for data entry and prearrangement of the machine in the various operation stages.
The PLC programme is continuously updated to follow the evolution of the tools and operation techniques. It also has some special functions, such as:
- Function TS (Time Saving): The work feed is given during the final portion of the cutting stroke eliminating dead times at reversals.
- Function SA (Speed Adjustment): The feed speed of the spindle has inlet and outlet ramps with adjustable acceleration and duration so that the "entry" and exit from the material can be smooth.
- Function DS (Dual Speed): Allows automatic carriage speed passage from the initial low value, which avoid disks deviation, to the normal operation one, as soon as the depth value preset by the operator is reached.
- Function SLS (Software Limit Switches): The limit switches of the spindle carriage are presettable via software, directly from the panel. This keeps the operator from carrying out difficult and at times dangerous manoeuvres on the machine.
