D K Trivedi & Sons was established by late Mr. D K Trivedi back in 1949 and is responsible for revolutionizing the marble mining industry of India by becoming the first company to operate a fully mechanized mine in the country.
Mr. Vijay J. Trivedi, the owner of Trivedi Grani Marmo Pvt. Ltd. and a partner in D.K.Trivedi & Sons, is responsible for spearheading the revolution of mechanized marble mining. He bears the mantle of taking the company to further heights.

Our Legacy
Our journey in the marble industry was established by late Mr. D K Trivedi in 1949. Mr. D K Trivedi was a visionary temple architect who saw the value of restoring the ancient temple heritage of India. He undertook the phenomenal task of renovating the ancient and well-known Indian temples at Ranakpur in Gujarat and Delwara in Rajasthan. He located the source of the white marble used in the construction of those temples. He quarried white marble from the hills located in Ambaji, for the reconstruction of those temples on a modest scale. And thus began the legend of India's most pioneering marble industry.
Mr. Jitendra Trivedi, son of late Shree D.K.Trivedi took upon himself the mighty task of developing the Ambaji mine into the finest and the most well managed marble mine in the world.
His son, Mr. Vijay Trivedi, has taken upon himself to further develop the mine at Ambaji while overlooking the proceeds at his Ahmedabad factory.
Today the Vijay Trivedi Group has come a long way from being just a marble mining business to becoming a fast growing marble mining, wholesaling and retailing businesses.
