Founded in 1967, MARCANT has more than 40 years of experience on transforming marble and limestone into slabs of different thicknesses which are commercialized for every trade all over the world. Marcant is owner of an exclusive quarry which extracts an unique Limestone, the Creme Manhi or Fatima. The Factory, located in the centre of Portugal, is equipped with the highest technology and has about 20.000 sqm area of blocks and slabs, coming mostly from Alentejo and Serra d’Aire e Candeeiros, that guarantees a big and high quality stock, allowing the direct shipment by sea or land. Because the selection of materials begins with the extraction, MARCANT has a stock yard in Borba, where the blocks are carefully selected from several marble quarries in that region. In order to well attend the national customers, Marcant has a warehouse in the north of Portugal – Santo Tirso, which offers a big variety of limestone ,marble slabs and Granites, duly selected.
We have rised our market now, supplying to Arab Countries cut to size materials, like for the Sheraton Four Points in Kuwait and the Oil Sector Complex in Kuwait and many other projects running all over the world
