Machinery Function Features
Bridge:
The bridge is made up of a seasoned cast iron monoblock beam. The control panel and all the electrical and electronic equipments are jointed to the bridge which has refaced bearing wheels and slides on hardened steel interchangeable bars housed in cast iron bodies giving the maximum stability to all the assembly. The bridge traverse on the guides takes place with gears on high precision racks. Everything is protected against water splash by proper gaurds fixed to the bridge. The displacement can be checked through a visual system with metric / inch rule and on the display of the electronic programmer.
Bridge control unit:
The traverse of the bridge is carried out automatically by means of a self braking speed variating gearmotor or manually by means of a handwheel on side of the control board. During the cutting operation, the bridge is kept in position by a double electromagnetic locking device.
Carriage:
The accurately machined cast iron carriage determines the cutting speed. It slides with prismatic sliding blocks in oil bath on interchangeable slide tracks housed inside the bridge. The carriage control group allows progressive speed variation and high power transmissions by means of a special device, maintaining always a smooth a vibrationless movement. Inside the carriage, there is the cast iron vertical slide which allows the automatic rise and descent of the spindle by means of a gearmotor, screw and bronze lead nut. The slide moves on refaced and adjustable bronze screw nuts and is controlled by the equipment for the incremental step cuts.
Spindle:
"DIGITAL" version:
For vertical and inclined cuts from 0° to 90° in a single cut, the spindle is fixed to the vertical slide and rotates manually by means of a handwheel. A special two-speed 24 HP direct motor provided with special protection is fixed to the tilting group. the tilting group and the slide attachment plate are cast iron made and the rotation takes place by means of a special helicoidal gear and worm screw controlled by a handwheel.
"UNIVERSAL" version:
The spindle, for vertical and inclined cuts from 0° to 90° both ia a single cut and several incremental cuts, rotates by means of a handwheel and runs on a slide and a counterslide both of cast iron applied to the tilting group. The movement of the counterslide on the slide takes place by means of a speed reducer, screw and nut screw supported by a proper thrust bearing on adjustable guides. A two-speed 24 HP motor with special protection is fixed to the counterslide.
The "DIGITAL" machine is supplied in its standard version with no. 1 cast-iron worktable, manually rotating and lockable at 0°, 45°, 90°, 135°.
On request, the following worktables can be supplied:
a - Cast-iron manually rotating worktable, lockable om each of the 360° by suitable disc brake.
b - Manually rotating worktable complete of hydraulic tiltic platform for the vertical loading of the slabs. It can be locked at each of the 360° by hydraulic caliper brake and is supplied with wood supporting frame for slabs.
Worktables type "STANDARD" and "A" can be also supplied on request sliding on rails.
The "Universal" machine is supplied in its standard version with no. 1 cast-iron worktable, manually rotating, lockable at 0°, 45°, 90° and 135° and liftable by hydraulic cylinder.
The worktable is realized in cast-iron and the rotation is secured by suitable double crown of balls of large diameter to allow max stability.
On request, the following worktables can be supplied:
c - Cast-iron manually rotating worktable, liftable by hydraulic cylinder and lockable on each of the 360° by hydraulic caliper brake.
d - Manually rotating worktable liftable by hydraulic cylinder and complete of hydraulic tilting platform for the vertical loading of the slabs. It can be locked at each of the 360° by hydraulic caliper brake and is supplied with wood supporting frame for slabs. Centralized control panel:
It comprehends the control of the electronic and electric equipments. On this panel there is the electronic programmer which gives the following possibilities:
- automatic marble cycle
- automatic granite cycle
- possibility to set several cutting measures in the quantity required (max. 99 possibilities)
- possibility to store the inertial displacement and the disc thickness. Electric panel:
Comprehends the equipment for the carrying out, control and safety of the various working operations.
Only the connection between the power line and the electric panel of the machine have to be done by the customer.
Water plant:
It comprehends all the pipeline, from a fixed connection point up to the fork. Cutting possibilities of the various version:
DIGITAL: on marble it is possible to carry out up to 220 mm. deep cuts with Ø 725 mm. disc. On granite it is possible to carry out inclined cuts in one step up to a depth of 35 mm. with Ø 500 mm. disc and several vertical step-cuts up to a maximum depth of 180 mm. with Ø 625 mm. disc.
UNIVERSAL:on marble it is possible to carry out up to 220 mm. deep cuts with Ø 725 mm. disc. On granite it is possible to have several vertical step-cuts to the maximum depth of 220 mm. with Ø 725 mm. disc and inclined cuts of 45° in several step-cuts up to a maximum depth of110 mm. with Ø 625 mm. disc.
The cutting possibilities listed above can be obtained by means of suitable equipments which have to be definied in the stage of ordering the machine.
