The new FLOTTER 57/42 automatic edge polisher, for flat edges, is the first machine built with “floating” frontal polishing heads for finishing marble and granite.
The result of years of experience at CMG, the FLOTTER SYSTEM, for high quality finishing and increased production.

Designed and manufactured according to the up-to-date concepts and structural principles, the OMEGA series, automatic multispindle belt polishing machine, is remarkable for its performance and production on every kind of marble and granite. Its complete equipment allows it to perform all the finishing operations on the materials used in the building field, furnishings and monuments. On steps, window sills and other works with thickness from 10 to 60 mm (Omega 60) and from 10 to 100 mm (Omega 100) this machine is able to perform: calibration/gauging, straight edge, bevels, upper groove, lower groove, sloping cuts and their polishing, quirk miters (QM), slot cuts in general, bullnose, edges with regular round shapes (quarter bullnose, half bullnose, etc…). The machine can perform all the processing without the operator manual intervention.

Tilting calibrating spindle assembled on n. 2 orthogonal axes: the vertical one with motorized positioning and keyboard, the horizontal one with manual positioning. Possibility to tilt to 90°. The spindle is arranged to be equipped with shaped wheels to rough irregular profiles.

Wind Star is the Steinex range of splitting machinery used in automatic splitting lines for splitting sawn stone and concrete.
In addition to the traditional upper and lower blades, Wind Star splitting machines are equipped with lateral or side blades. This four-blade system permits splitting pressure to be exerted to all four principal stone faces resulting in a straighter split or profile
With certain types of stone, using this technology it is possible to produce very thin cladding and tiles with a straight profile not normally achievable with traditional upper and lower blade systems
Additionally, Wind Star machines have a special internal frame, raising the lower blade so it makes direct contact with the bottom stone surface and is not impeded by any part of the machinery, optimizing the accuracy of the split.

Machine featuring greater working dimensions for blades with maximum diameter of 1.700 mm.
Its rigid structure, strong construction and well-dimensioned beam limit the vibrations and assure the optimal use of diamond blades. The result is a more precise cut and a longer tool life.
RAPID AND PRECISE
The movement of both the spindle-holding carriage and the beam are in an oil bath, always precise, rapid and well protected. Once the beam has reached the correct position, it is blocked laterally on the bridges by means of a double oil-pressure device.
The two bridges move on sliding blocks with play adjustment along the guides, which are housed inside the columns, well protected by labyrinth seals. The spindle-holding carriage is moved horizontally by an electric motor controlled by an inverter.
The 550 mm ø horizontal blade spindle is mounted vertically on one side of the carriage and it can be adjusted in height by a rack and pinion assembly powered by a reducer with invertercontrolled A/C motor. The unit is equipped with a mechanism for the automatic compass movement of the blade. The rectified and dynamically balanced spindle shaft guarantees an exceptional precise rotation.

The Ortobreton 4EM can be equipped with an automatic strip unloader.
Ortobreton 4EM is simple and responsive to controls. A user-friendly interface helps you to work better, proposing the most suitable cutting parameters and guaranteeing the continuous memorization of work data.
Warnings are shown on the monitor as well as the technical and statistical data on production and machine operation, which assist the operator in controlling and managing the work. Moreover, the monitor automatically signals the operator when preventive maintenance is required. The machine is controlled by a PLC system.

How does it work?
A strong aspiration, localized all over the frontal grating and by one or two (optional) articulated suction arms, sucks the dust inside the Idrodos where it amalgamates with sprayed water particles. The air stream forces the wet dust along a path where the centrifugal forces trap it into the water tank. From there, the air flow continues its way to the pvc drop separators, which retain the moisture and ensure the return of dry air into the work environment. The dry air has to pass air diffusers which reduce the speed and turbulences of the air stream. Most of the captured dust is expelled as muddy water by a continuous water overflow.
