My Granite Friend is a small company with big expectations that is privately over month. With Manny Carrion at the helm, the company prides in
maintaining personal close relationships with all of his clients. This was not business Manny knew much about but through trust and perseverance,
he knew he can make it work.
It all started when I had the privilege of meeting a gentleman that had a warehouse full of granite right next to a dealership Manny was running.
This gentleman saw how well I was selling cars so he asks me if I can help him with his granite business because his business was not doing well.
Because Manny never backed down from an opportunity and was always open to new ideas himself, he took on the challenge. In order to help,
Manny needed to know everything that there is to know about granite.
Manny did the research in a month and started selling granite for him and getting clients for his son who had a fabrication business. In one month
Manny generated $22,000 dollars in sales for his son, secured two builders and a contract with Lowes, Flooring Decor and Cabinets To Go. As Manny
continued to sell and educate himself with the industry, he found that 80% of his granite was over priced. He suggested coming down in price to be
able to compete with the current market prices. Unfortunately, he was not on board and after three months, he left the company because he knew at
that point he was not going to be able to grow beyond what was already accomplished. In those three months he learned the industry and market
and got the trust of 80% of the local market Fabricators. That is when “My Granite Friend” was Born.
