In 1982 in Avenza in the Province of Massa Carrara, the firm Tesimag was founded by Pier Lorenzo Vannucci. Through years of experience working with multinational firms specialized in water and pumping systems, Mr. Vannucci applied his special ingenuity and professionalism to this endeavour. In the beginning there were many ideas, a simple warehouse, a minimal staff and the production of a bit of machinery. Later, Tesimag began to distinguish itself from its competitors thanks to a desire by its founder to create an industrial model where research and intuition lead to the development of quality products. Today the company’s Direction, Research and Development, Design and Production, Customer Service departments and the warehouse are all under one roof. The current success of Tesimag is a result of the decision to create vertical integration, permitting control of all the productive and distribution steps. The company has become an example within its sector, creating integrated systems ranging from pumps for abrasive liquids and high pressure washes to water treatment and purification systems. At the forefront of technology, Tesimag’s expertise is increasingly sought for applications in Italy and abroad in the stone-cutting, ceramic, paper-making and chemical industries. Starting in the 1990s, Tesimag extended its skills in developing excellence to complementary and alternative business with the establishment of firms dedicated to specialized products: Tevan, born of Tesimag’s know-how, produces specialized pumps for industry and territorial reclamation; B&V designs systems for ozone therapy and well-being; and Barcovanline is associated with cosmetics resulting from scientific research.
