Fortune Stones Ltd (FSL) is the first joint venture company of The M. P. State Mining Corporation Ltd., Bhopal (MPSMC) & Fortune International, Ltd. New Delhi (FIL). Whereby 20% of the JV company is owned by MPSMC.
FSL is one of the largest producers of red granite in Northern India with an annual production capacity of over 60,000 Cubic Meters. The flagship mines are located near Khajuraho, Chhatarpur district, Madhya Pradesh.
The Company was initially allotted Five mining areas in the Chhatarpur District of MP for mining red color granites but is currently operating on only three leases at Kathera. Recently the company has acquired several mining leases in the same district of Madhya Pradesh as well as in Jalore, Barmer & Sikar districts of Rajasthan.
By participating in various trade fairs in the international and domestic markets this company has contributed significantly towards putting the state of MP on the granite map of India and is today considered to be the second largest producer of the Red Granite in the Country. The company is also a designated 100% EOU, under Indore Special Economic Zone, by the Ministry of Commerce, Govt. of India.
The Company sells its red granite under its own brand name of "Fortune Red ", Which is well recognized in the international and domestic markets and main international markets are Thailand, Taiwan, China, Malaysia and Singapore.
FSL has also established a granite cutting & polishing unit for processing its granite into Slabs at Chhatarpur, MP.
Company has employee strength of apprx 650(directly and indirectly). It operates out of offices in Chhatarpur (Madhya Pradesh), Udaipur (Rajasthan) and Registered office at Okhla Industrial Estate (Delhi).
