MATKO S.A. was founded in 1973. It is one of the oldest companies in Greece, specialized in extracting and processing marble. The marble quarries are in Tranovalto in the area of Kozani, one of the most important marble mining areas in Greece. An important part of our production is sent to the Greek market, while our exports to many other countries in the world reach 50% of the production (USA, Europe, Southeastern Asia, Persian Gulf and the Middle East). Our firm deals with marbles from Tranovalto Kozanis, which are of excellent quality (white,semi-white). It is a family industry having 20-year experience in extracting and processing marble (with a modern factory and fully-equipped mines). Our firm promotes its products into the Greek and international markets. Our production reaches 15.000 - 20.000 m2 per month. We are able to deal with any order.
