Company Description
Passion for marble and granite trade and processing, of which he knew all secrets, induced Bruno Destri in 1959 to establish Marmi Lanza in the geographic and productive contest of Valpolicella.
Born as a family business, the company grew very fast thanks to the new modern equipments and a careful administration but always in respect of the tradition.
The entry of the son Nereo and of the daughters Arianna and Paola Destri has been an important stage that launched Marmi Lanza at the top of the market.
It becames a joint-stock firm and today it is a primary Company in the Valpolicella’s productive market and exports more than 50% of its production.
Not satisfied with the results obtained Marmi Lanza in the past years enlarged its premises always aware of the new modern technology and considering the market changes and evolutions but always maintaining a mainly familiar administration.
The total surface is of 130.000 square meter divided in the main building and other 4 production units equipped with cutting, polishing, processing machines of the highest technology.
With the opening of Marmoland besides the supply of several kinds of marble and granites in blocks, slabs, tiles, floor and cut to size we are now able to develop and carry out projects of each difficulty level, supporting the client from the develop of the drawings to the laying of material on site.
In this facility, which spreads out on surface of 26,000 sqm there is our slabs exposition of which the daily production is now of about 2,500 sqm thanks to the new gangsaws and the advanced polishing line.
In 2008 have been installed a multi-diamondwire saw of the newest generation, which can cut a whole block in a day.
Also the production of tiles and floor has been increased up to ca 2,000 sqm per day with the purchase of new equipments.
With the purpose of improving the products and service quality in June 2000 we obtained the quality certification ISO9001 and in September 2004 we achieved also the certification ISO 14001:2004 for the environment and OHSAS 18001:1999 for the security.
