    Machinery Function Features:

FARNESE AUSTRALIA recognises the high demand from consumers for elegant stone features and the Stone Industry's need to make clean, quick and accurate mitres to meet this demand. The MITRE SAW simply and speedily cuts accurate mitres for a wide range of materials including engineered stone, granite, marble and porcelain of thickness ranging from 8 to 40mm.
Accuracy is the key when cutting mitres:
The more accurate the cut, the better the result. With the Mitre Saw Excel, an accurate mitre cut is achieved each and every time due to the precise angle of the blade and the straight edge system which uses front edge stoppers to accurately position the material on the table. No measuring. No mistakes. Coupled with this, the pneumatic clamps flatten the material against the table so that it's always straight and always stays in place.
The Mitre Saw's reputation for accurate cuts is also due to the fact the material is loaded polished face down, thereby eliminating cutting errors that can arise due to small variations in material thickness along its length.
The smaller diameter continuous rim special purpose blade, together with the variable feed control, means that a range of material thicknesses and hardness can be accommodated with less chipping and less cut deflection. The result? Greater accuracy and a straighter, cleaner cut. No need for an experienced saw operator; the Mitre Saw is easy to use and with minimal training requirements and fast installation it can fit into any workshop and make your business more profitable.

Can I cut stone with a table saw?

You can use a table saw to cut stone if the saw has a diamond blade that is kept continually wet while cutting. A regular table saw blade will not create a smooth cut. The blade will chip the stone and will also produce a large amount of dangerous silica dust. A table saw is great for everyday projects.

Wet your stone in a bowl or bucket of water to prevent an initial dry cut. Place the stone on the opposite end of the tile saw from yourself. Pull the stone gently towards you, using the saw blade to cut down your marked line. Allow the saw blade to cut the rock, rather than putting a lot of pressure on it.
