Brembana greenjet evo is a groundbreaking, highly efficient electric pump. A top-performance torque servomotor supplies a very high-pressure level while removing the hydraulic unit and up to 80% of components compared to a traditional hydraulic intensifier. Brembana Greenjet Evo is equipped with one electrically driven actuator and two high-pressure opposed cylinders. Such solution with an electric actuator delivers an extremely constant pressure level, a monitoring of the pressurization cycle and an efficiency at least 30% higher than hydraulic intensifiers.

The ACTIVE IDE cutting head is the most efficient, long lasting cutting head with the fewest possible parts on the market. The key advantages of the ACTIVE IDE I are the exact targeted cutting jet, the pre-filter protecting the orifice and the advanced nozzle valve design. The unit is also virtually maintenance-free.
As the cutting head contains a minimum number of components, it is particularly easy to handle. Its innovative design minimizes the jet stream width so that all impact energy is concentrated in the cutting tip of the jet. The result is a perfect and accurately positioned cut.
The diamond orifice and the mixing chamber are combined in a single nozzle body. Thanks to this user-friendly design, the focusing tube and the pre-filter, which are the only wear parts, can be exchanged easily and quickly.
The integrated diamond orifice far outperforms any sapphire orifice by ten to twenty times. The prolonged orifice life means longer uptime and thus more consistent precision cutting. This in turn helps increase the lifespan of the focusing tube and results in smoother cutting edges and less waste.
The newly developed pre-filter is installed between the HD line and the nozzle valve body in the adapter. It keeps impurities from cloggings the orifice which significantly prolongs the service life of the nozzle and lowers the operating costs.

Upon customer request, SNIC waterjet systems can also be equipped with KMT Jetline or Streamline SL-V Standard or Streamline PRO intensifiers.
The intensifier generates a high pressure of up to 4136 bar, which is focused with high-speed water through a fine precious stone orifice. The jet stream velocity equals about 3 times the speed of sound. When cutting hard materials, garnet is added to the high-pressure water generating a high energy stream now containing water and abrasive.

This cutting method is primarily used for cutting soft materials such as rubber, foam, gasket, leather, textiles, foodstuffs and many other similar materials.
Normal tap water is pressurized at ultra-high pressure levels and forced through a small precious stone orifice to form an intense cutting stream. The jet stream moves at a velocity of up to 3 times the speed of sound, creating the ability to cut at very high feed rates.
For your hard materials that cannot be machined with water only, the water nozzle nut is replaced with the IDE abrasive cutting head. The high velocity waterjet creates a vacuum which pulls the abrasive into a mixing chamber, producing a coherent, extremely energetic abrasive jet stream. This process is ideal for cutting intricate patterns in sheet metals, composites, decorative stone, synthetic ceramics, glass, etc.

By using 2 catch basins, the Powerjet 3D Twin enables the machine to be loaded during the machining process. This means that, for the first time, a machine is available specifically for industrial and efficient manufacturing in the waterjet sector. The basins can be designed as a continuous work surface so that oversized workpieces can be machined. Alternatively, the machine can be equipped with an automatic interchangeable frame. This allows the machine to be integrated into a system with automatic loading.

At the core of Flow’s UCL technology is the unique orifice assembly. The Diamond Precision Orifice is our longest lasting, most durable orifice that performs reliably at 60,000 psi/4,150 bar or 87,000 psi/6,000 bar operating pressure. Additionally, we offer other jewel orifice assemblies, such as ruby and sapphire, which offer good life at a reduced cost.
Unlike other abrasive waterjet cutting heads, the PASER 4 has only two consumable parts – the orifice and the mixing tube. No expensive carbide mixing chamber exists in this high-tech cutting head. Similar to our orifice assemblies, we have a variety of performance grades of mixing tube available. These nano-grained composite carbide mixing tubes act as the rifle barrel as the abrasive is entrained and accelerated into the powerful cutting stream.

Dynamic Contour Follower and Collision Sensor
The Dynamic Contour Follower™ (DCF) allows for automatic setting and tracking of the stand-off distance between the mixing tube tip and the material being cut, allowing for more efficient and accurate part cutting.
Three independent legs transmit height variations in cutting material in full 360 degree movement on the XY plane. Variations in the XY plane are communicated to the Z-axis producing immediate adjustments in the stand-off height to maintain the ideal cutting environment. It works with both Standard and Dynamic waterjet cutting heads.
The Dynamic Contour Follower can also be used with an optional collision sensor – designed to detect collisions with obstructions and stop the machine before damage can occur.

The laser measuring is highly accurate, without requiring physical contact with a material. Maintenance
HyPlex Prime pumps combine HyperJet® technology with direct drive efficiency. The HyPlex Prime is the most reliable ultrahigh-pressure direct drive pump in the world. As the inventors of direct drive technology, Flow provides preventative maintenance interval kits to allow fast and consistent maintenance. Pressure loading tools quickly open the pump to access the replacement components. The same loading tool ensures perfect realignment upon reassembly. This technique is similar to that found on our most advanced 94,000 psi HyperJet pumps. In addition, Flow offers service contracts to eliminate nearly all pump maintenance.
Safety by Design
This pump is designed for safe, reliable, continuous operation at 55,000 psi [3,800 bar] in tough industrial cutting applications.
Flow’s pumps are manufactured in an ASME certified facility. ASME certification ensures Flow follows the strict rules of material traceability, design, manufacture and safety of ultrahigh-pressure containment vessels per ASME code Section VIII, Division 3, and is permitted to apply the U3 stamp to components which apply to the code.
