PRODUCT FEATURES
The the AWP-158 is a portable electric polisher designed for polishing, shaping, core drilling and light grinding. This 7.8 amp, 800-watt, 3,000 RPM machine is a powerful workhorse suitable for use in the shop or on the job site.The AWP-158 features several improvements over previous generations of polishers. In addition to the increased power and spindle speed, there are two types of handles included: a side handle for edge profiling and polishing and a “C” handle for core drilling and flat surface polishing.
There is a flat polishing caster designed to improve stability during scratch removal operations for a better final finish. The AWP-158 is double insulated and equipped with a power cord that is 10 feet long and has a built-in GFCI (Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter) for safety. Also for safety and abrasive longevity, the polisher has a center water-feed and water supply with convenient garden hose attachment. All these components are packed in a handy carrying case suitable for transporting and storing the AWP-158 and its accessories.
Designed to perform polishing and several other operations, the AWP-158 is suitable for use with the Alpha® DS Style Shaping Wheel, the Alpha® Profiler and Alpha® Core Bits, as well as, the entire line of Ceramica polishing pads. SECTOR TRIPLESPEED – ELECTRONIC PORTABLE STONE ROUTER with three rotation speeds
The three different tool rotation speeds can be set through the S1, S2 and S3 push buttons:
Max. speed (10000 rpm): Stock removal and finishing of natural materials (marble, granite…)
Intermediate speed (6000 rpm): Stock removal and finishing of any type of synthetic material
Min. speed (2600 rpm): Polishing of both natural and synthetic materials by Ghines polishing wheels
SECTOR TRIPLESPEED allows to exploit the properties of every single tool to their maximum and to process any material (engineered stone or synthetic materials require an intermediate speed to avoid to burn the resin bonded components).
The shaping and polishing process is executed in 4 to 7 steps, according to the kind of material and is the same for both, “simple” profiles (full bullnose, bird’s beak etc) as well as “complex” ones (Q, O etc), therefore one can offer different profiles at nearly the same cost.
Universal supply tension
Even if equipped with a three phase motor, the SECTOR TRIPLESPEED electronic portable stone router requires only single phase 230V/50-60Hz power, therefore it can be plugged into any standard single phase outlets.
SECTOR SINGLESPEED PLUG-IN – ELECTRIC PORTABLE STONE ROUTER
The new Sector Plug-in doesn’t need any electrical cabinet. Out of the range of portable stone routers Ghines offers a fixed speed version at 8.000 rpm which allows to use the metal bonded wheels to create the shape of a profile in 1 to 4 steps, according to the desired finishing degree. Thanks to the high rotation speed and the quality of GHINESTOOLS, achieving the desired grade of finishing is fast and easy, even at one speed. The model SECTOR SINGLESPEED is in fact the tradeoff for those who want to reduce the number of processing steps and do not need a polished finish. The SECTOR SINGLESPEED does not allow the use of polishing wheels.

GPW-A02B 90 degree edge polishing auxiliary base is used together with GISON's GPW-7/7L wet air sanders / polishers to accurately polish straight edges while keeping the slab flat on fabrication table. This new product will remove the guess work and inconsistency normally exist when fabricators polish stone edges with diamond polishing pads. It accepts maximum 4" back holder and 4" diamond polishing pads. Caution: Although the rollers for the base are made of nylon, it is possible that they may cause minor scratches on the surface of granite. To prevent that from occurring, we recommend that the polished surface be covered with masking tape before using this product.
