Pedrini M257SC Scanner for Stone Slabs

Scanner for slabs used for the creation of digital high-definition coloured photos and for the detection of dimensional data. For each slab it produces a high-resolution photo, a low-resolution photo and one of the outer boundary. The control computer associates a personalized name/serial number and the dimensional data of the slab to each photo:
Length and width of the minimum bounding rectangle;
Length and width of the maximum inscribed rectangle;
Area calculated on the basis of the captured image;
Thickness
The software allows to store the data in the computer memory.
The main control panel consists of a coloured Touch Screen and of a computer with a programming system based on Linux operating system. All the machine functions are controlled and programmed by operator through an easy to use interface.
The scannner is composed of:
•Metal structure.
•Linear coloured camera with 10,240 pixels maximum resolution.
•LED lighting device for the scan zone with durability and stability guarantee.
•Detection devices for the slab tracking.
•Detection device for the slab thickness.
•Computer with 17" coloured touch screen,connections for network cables and external memories.
Software running on Linux base, with the following functions:
•Creation and management of the image files;
•Transmission of the images to external hardware/network;
•Connection to Teleservice;
•Management of the weighing unit (optional);
•Management of the labels printing and application unit (optional);
•Management of the bar-code reading unit (optional);
•Working dimensions: 3500 mm x 2200mm.

The slab weight can be associated to the image together with the dimensional data.

Printer for adhesive labels with manual application, size 4”x4”.
The adhesive label is customized with the identification bar-code and with the slab data coming from the scanner and, if installed, from the weighing system.

Printer and applicator for adhesive labels, size 4”x4”.
The adhesive label is customized with the slab data coming from the scanner and, if installed, from the weighing system. Each label is automatically applied on the slab in internal or external position depending on the needs.

Bar-code reader.
In case the slab has been previously labelled with bar-code, the reader allows to automatically associate the bar-code to the slab image.
