FUEGO'S KEY FEATURES



The Fuego has two opposite "carriages" that move vertically independently on guides that have ball screws (protected by bellows). While one trolley is equipped with a motor and driven pulley, which are both 1,000 mm diameter, the opposite one has two 1,000 mm diameter driven pulleys. The tautness of the tension pulley is maintained by a pneumatic cylinder.



Two pairs of guidepulleys of 300 mm diameter ensure the precise guidance of the wire near the entrance and exit of the block to be cut.



The machine is equipped with a 6 wheel motorized trolley (3 of the trolley are a “V” profile wheel) with a motorized rotating loading platform.



The traverse and rotation axes of the trolley, which are interpolated with the downward movement of the diamond wire, allows the Fuego to perform complex profiles.



This machine can cut blocks with maximum dimension of up to 1,800 mm in height with a diamond wire that can incline up to +/- 20°, requiring a 300 mm recession in the foundation on either side of each column. With the wire parallel to the trolley surface, the distance between the diamond wire and the surface itself is 2,200 mm.



The deflection of the wire during the cutting operations is controlled by the operating system of the machine, based on the position of the tension piston that adjusts the cutting speed to always ensure the perfect accuracy of the finished product.



The electrical cabinet contains a digital inverter that controls the power of the main motor, drives for driven motors for the axes movement, and an NC unit and a color touch-screen operating panel.

It is usually equipped with a motorized block-holding trolley with brushless motor and loading platform; it enables to execute profiles such as columns, frames and shapes for funerary art and interior decoration, by interpolating the vertical cutting axis with the trolley advance horizontal axis.



Designed on the basis of the single-wire machine "FUEGO Multiaxis", it is equipped with special wire-driving drums which can be oriented adjacent to the entrance and exit of the wire from the block in order to follow the cutting direction.



It is equipped with special drives for axis positioning and with a powerful, user-friendly, CAD/CAM programming software to be installed on the customer’s computer.

Erotag is the CAD / CAM software for wire cutting and shaping machines that can interpolate up to 10 axes.
It is suitable for program profiling, roughing of blocks and to create complex shapes, such as; cylindrical columns and conical shells for covering the columns, templates for furniture, stairs and frames.
OPERATION
Erotag allows the user to freely assign the machining cycles and the order of items to be processed.

The 2 or 4 synchronized axes is useful for cylindrical or constant conical machining while the 4 or more independent axes contouring allows variable conical machining in which profiles on the two planes of interpolation (typically XY and UV) have different shapes.
Possible options, such as slowing down, can be assigned automatically or manually as well as linear unloading, circular unloading, pausing on edge work, work regimes and synchronization points. The start and stop points on the profile are independent on the two planes of interpolation.
Erotag is part of the CAD Logotag that allows users to generate the machining profiles in the simplest and quickest way, without using third-party drawing programs.
