Our CSM series chain saw machines are suitable for dry cutting marble and soft stone. They can be used for multiple purposes and can cut the stone horizontally and vertically.

The chain saw machine model ”NF-7.1” is designated for the extraction of marble and stone blocks in the open sky quarries using the most recent technologies. The chain saw “NF-7.1” permits to improve the performances and to reduce to minimum the cost of the cut.
The chain saw “NF-7.1” is universal: it can execute vertical and horizontal cuts on materials with compression strength higher than 150 Mpa. The movement of the machine is made through a sprocket and rack element assembled on the rails.

The 70RABU chain saw machine features a cutting capacity of up to 5.1 m and is even suitable for use with marble and other very hard stones. The machine is operated by a hydraulic system with variable capacity main pump driven by an electric motor, and can execute horizontal and vertical cuts without the need for water cooling.

The main feature of this machine is the single rail that allows it to be repositioned longitudinally rapidly and without the need for lifting equipment.

The 70 SUPER /H chain saw machine is the most powerful model in the FANTINI range.

It features a vertical cutting capacity of up to 8.0 m and provides excellent results with both marble and other types of hard stone. The machine is operated by a hydraulic system with variable capacity main pump driven by an electric motor.

The electro-hydraulically operated controls guarantee power and speed in all operating conditions and the machine can execute horizontal and vertical cuts without the need for water cooling.

The Fantini 50.81 chain saw machine is designed for use in medium hardness stone quarries and can execute cuts to a depth of up to di 3.4 m. In the case of hard type marble and stone, the cutting depth is reduced to 2.8 m.

The machine can perform horizontal and vertical cuts without the need for cooling water and is available in either the modular rail (RA/P), or single rail (BU), version; in the latter configuration, the machine can be repositioned by moving it along a single rail, without the need for lifting equipment.

Chain saw on which all drives are electric and controlled by Inverters. The higher energy efficiency with respect to hydraulic systems and the specific tool arrangement offer significantly better cutting speeds and tool life.

A modern heavy-duty chain saw for sedimentary stone quarries,where the machine can perform cuts both vertical and horizontal.

The machine is driven entirely by electric motors to reduce energy demand (due to the higher efficiency with respect to hydrostatic transmissions) also eliminating maintenance problems typical of hydraulic circuits.

The machine consists of the following main parts:

Frame

The welded steel frame is extremely rigid in both torsion and bending to ensure the absence of deformation guaranteeing limited mechanical loads on the cutting arm and long tool life.

Main Motor

The main 30 kW motor operating at variable speed under the control of an Inverter, driving the chain itself, through an epicycloid gearbox.

The blade rotation system, also with a variable speed motor (Inverter controlled) and an irreversible double worm and crown gearbox for blade rotation;

The motorised blade-swing system, with a 0,75 kW Motor that positions

the blade horizontally or vertically.

Variable speed 3 kW motor with a speed reducer and rack and pinion system, to drive the machine along the track.

A pump set for blade pinion and chain lubrication, with 0,25 Kw motor

Electric panel

The electric panel and switchboard with controls and commands with emergency machine stop in case of anomalies.

Blade

Available in lengths suitable for cutting depths from 2 to 5.6 m, the blade is in special high strength and wear-resistant steel. The blade incorporates channels for both lubricant pipework and for cooling water or air.

The blade edges are machined and drilled to house the wear-plates on which the chain runs during cutting; these replaceable plates are in hardened and tempered steel.

Chain

The special steel chain consists of 8 tool-carrier links. The first 5 links carry one tool, while the others each have two in stepped positions.

This patented arrangement offers high cutting speeds and the best possible resistance to tool wear and breakage. The tools are normally in Tungsten Carbide size 12,7 x 12,7 x 6,5mm and are fastened by a screw so that each tool can be used up to eight times

Track (Rail)

Three tracks are provided (more on request) each of 3m length, and complete with anchoring systems to fasten the machine to the quarry floor.

The three-track system allows continuous machine operation; when track 2 is reached, track 1 can be placed ahead of track 3, with no need to stop the machine.

Walking beam type track

A "walking beam" version is also available with a single track of length 7.5m, allowing 5m travel. Using hydraulic cylinders, the machine can be lifted with the track, the latter then being shifted ahead to continue cutting, with no need for other lifting gear.

A large increase in quarry output can be achieved by combining the use of a chain saw and diamond wire saws.

The 70RATA sawing machine can cut up to 5.10 m and can even be used for marble and high hardness stones. Thanks to the presence of PLC and Encoders, its main feature is the ability to perform vertical and horizontal cuts in unattended mode, by setting the cutting measurements (depth and length) before execution.

The machine is driven by a hydraulic device with the main, variable flow rate pump driven by an electric motor, and performs horizontal and vertical cutting without the need for cooling water. The electro-hydraulic controls give it the power and speeds suitable for various operating conditions.

The Fantini 50.90 chain saw machine is designed for cutting medium soft stone, and cutting and squaring in quarries with sloped banks. It can be supplied with an arm with an effective cutting depth of up to 2.0 m.

The machine can perform horizontal and vertical cuts without the need for cooling water and is available in either the modular rail (P), or single rail (BU), version; in the latter configuration, the machine can be repositioned by moving it along a single rail, without the need for lifting equipment.

Chain Saw Model 70.RA/PD can make cuts of up to 5.1 metres, and was designed and built to make vertical and horizontal cuts on hard and/or abrasive stones without the need for cooling water.

The machine is fitted with a diesel engine which allows completely autonomous operation, eliminating the need for any electrical wiring connections to generators or power grids. This model is particularly useful in working environments that are not connected to the power grid.

CHAIN SAW MACHINE Series 20.90
This chain saw machine has been recently produced to make less deep cut (up to 1.30 m) in soft and medium soft stones. It has a high cutting speed that can reach 8,0/10,0 m l/h depending on the type of stone. The cutting chain is started by an electric motor meanwhile the arm rotation and the translation of the machine are hydraulically operated. The chain saw can make horizontal and vertical cut without water.
One rail version (BU):
The chain saw has one translating rail of 5.00 mt controlled by the push button panel. It allows a fast longitudinal replacement of the chain saw without the help of any lifting devices.

If requested it is possible to install on Fantini chain saw machine a steel frame lifting module for better transport and positioning the chain saw machine in the quarry.
The steel frame lifting module also protects the chain saw.
