GEKO is an automatic loader/unloader perfect for the automation of marble and granite processing lines. GEKO loads the slabs directly from the storage and places it on the motorized roller conveyor that feeds the processing line, allowing the “Book Match” processing. GEKO is operated by a CNC system and the motion is generated by brushless motors; the suction cups panel is able to perform rotations over 180 degrees.
GEKO is equipped with a motorized roller conveyor. SOLVER is a an automatic loading carriage with titling table.
Its main feature is a frame equipped with 18 or 21 suction cups that have been placed optimizing the surface coverage of the slabs to load.
The suction cups frame is also equipped with its own hydraulic or pneumatic movement able to roto- translate the slab towards the roller table. This movement, called “leaf”, has been designed to allow the slab to be detached from the next one and can be excluded by operator terminal.
This carriage is supplied with touch screen control panel to set up all parameters. An ultra sonic sensor is detecting the carriage positioning. The carriage is moved by means gearmotor, inverter controlled, for a precise and delicate loading of slabs.
The automatic operation of the carriage runs by means of sensors: they check the position of the machine, the presence or absence of slab and the connection with the roller conveyor.

The Helios Research & Development Department has conceived the Robo-Move system as a cutting assistant, which avoids the operator a manual heavy work. It is a slab handling system, which helps the unloading of the pieces, ensuring the integrity of the materials while the machine is working. The patented Robo-Move system is a cnc handling girder that works independently inside the working area of the machine. BUTTERFLY B416 is a robot equipped with sucker plate, that was designed for feeding and unloading operation on slabs polishing lines. Processing cycles, that are programmed through PLC, can control up to 4 movement axes, sucker plate has up to 180° rotation capacity. The operational elements, that are stressed only through slabs weight traction and that move along overhead track ways, create no ground space obstruction and provide extreme stability. A safety system provides vacuum to remain effective even in case of temporary energy blackout.
Sucker plate can rotate up to 180° thus allowing BUTTERFLY B416, whenever equipped with comb type motorized roller bench assembled onto an indexing support, to perform bookmatch processing, slabs alignment on the line and block re-composition. BUTTERFLY B416 can be made in version C/S with sucker plate double transversal stroke to perform both loading and unloading operations.

This machine, equipped with a sucker plate, was designed for strips automatic loading online. The strips in vertical position on the pallet, are picked up and deposited in horizontal position onto a motorized roller bench. M301, set in accordance with the processed material type, can perform on marble, travertine, granite, limestone, sand stone, slate and similar stones. Operational elements sturdiness and top quality components assure M301 cycle rapidity, easy use, reliability and long lastin maintenance-free operations. The PLC controlled automatic cycle is easily programmed through self-learning.
Vertical and horizontal strokes are driven through inverter controlled gear-motors, equipped with encoder, that ensure extremely smooth and precise movements and enable fragile material processing. Automatic loader works as well as in case of wet strips since it can be equipped with the strips separator that pushes away the strip eventually attached to the one being processed. Sucker plate 90° degree rotation and the strips separatorare actuated through pneumatic systems.
M301 can be used as unloader that picks up strips in horizontal position onto a motorized roller bench and deposit them on pallet in the vertical position. The automatic loader is also made in the M312 version equipped with rotating platform, that allows for empty pallet replacement with no line stop, and in the versions àthat allow loader positioning in front or aside the line. The machine is also manufactured in the version with two sucker plates that is used as strips overturner in lines that process resin reinforced or embellished materials.
The large size electric panel is water and dust proof incompliance with IP 54 standards. The control panel withkey board for programming the work parameters isembodied into the electric panel. All components have undergone structural inspectionthrough the FEM (Finite Element Method), their precisionensures machine geometry and easy and correct in locoassembly. The entire machine surface is protected with two layersof epoxy paint applied after the sand blasting operation.
