HERSEN designs and manufactures special machinery, made to measure, for Large Format Porcelain, Porcelain Stoneware, Sintered Stone, Solid Surfaces, marbles and granites.
This automatic slotting machine makes incisions on the back of the pieces for the placement of the fixing system. In this case, for the STRONGFIX anchoring system. It is a 45 degree double groove in the shape of a dovetail. The aluminum profiles are inserted into these grooves and fixed to the piece with putty.
HERSEN has designed a router that performs a clean and precise cut, obtaining precise and defined incisions. It can slot parts from 100mm to 1600mm wide, which allows ENTIRE BOARDS to be slotted.
The material to be grooved enters through a motorized roller bed, and a controlled mobile guide correctly aligns the material before entering the machine and the heads begin to groove.
It is built with 6 motors installed on 3 bridges. Each bridge has an independent cutting head, composed of two motors with two discs, in this way it is possible to make 3 pairs of grooves at 45º at the same time and separated from each other to any size.
It performs the grooving both continuously and discontinuously. This discontinuous grooving makes it possible to groove parts where windows, doors or corner joints go without the grooving cut being seen by the edges. What makes the façade aesthetically improve and does not weaken the pieces by making unnecessary cuts.
It is also possible to build the machine for the transverse grooving of the board.
It has been equipped with an automatic control and measurement system for the wear of the diamond blades and the depth of the grooves to always obtain the desired measurement of the grooves. Another system automatically fans the diamond blades, optimizing the number of meters of cut and always allowing a clean cut in the incisions.
It has been implemented with custom made software to be able to manage the work orders and breakdowns of the architects. In this way, the execution of the pieces can be managed both from the machine and from the technical office. In this way, the pieces that are being made of each project and each facade are controlled at all times, as well as the pieces that still need to be done.

The reception suction cup, also of a particular design, is made up of a rectangular plate, capable of supporting horizontal loads of up to 160 kg.
The motorized belt table, located at the entrance of the Robot, constitutes the feeding point to the treatment unit. In addition, it acts as an intermediate warehouse to guarantee the fluidity of the work cycle and minimize downtime for the entire line. It basically consists of a frame based on steel profiles on which the roller shafts rest.
All the wheels are frictioned to thus facilitate the synchronism of the advancement speeds of the tiles throughout the line.
A double device for bumping and squaring located on the band table, allows the positioning and control of the curbs before they are received by the robot.
The turning table for the elaboration of the curbs is located in the work area of the robot and allows to greatly reduce the time during the elaboration process.
The work area is protected, limiting access to risk areas by means of protection fences and photocells, to avoid any risk of accident.
The programming and the work sequence is variable and parameterizable, it is done by selecting from the control panel.
