The SNM-TB is the result of 30 years of experience in the manufacturing of stone cutting machines.
General characteristics:
It is a fully automatic block cutting machine designed to transform marble blocks into strips of desired thickness and height.
Automation makes the machine easy to use and increases its productivity and accuracy since the operator's skill level and qualification have no influence on the cutting process or on the precision of the machine. When there are specific requirements, the machine can be operated in manual mode.
It has a two-step digital programmable electronic controller with deceleration for very high slab thickness precision. Slab thickness accuracy is ensured by a split bronze half nut which compensates for wear.
Inserted bronze half nuts allow quick, easy and inexpensive replacement of worn half nuts.
The replacement of slide ways is quick and inexpensive and the variable delivery pump enables energy saving.
The machine is equipped with a pressure controller for water and a load meter that detects load on the spindle drive motor.
The machine's heavy-duty horizontal spindle is supported by two spherical roller bearings.
The SNM-TB occupies less space than rival block cutting machines and it is provided with an automatic slab unloading system which enables to eliminate dead times due unloading operations by the operator. Furthermore, the unloading system allows to horizontally unload the slab directly on the following machine without any lateral movement.
Special options
The machine can be supplied with two block holding carriages.
The machine can be equipped with an automatic speed control which adjusts automatically the cutting speed according to the hardness and the thickness of the stone.

This 80-blade gangsaw is characterized by the raising of the block during the sawing phase.
General characteristics:
Flywheel in two halves diameter 3.5m.
Main battery shaft and crank made of high resistance forged steel, rotating in high quality spherical roller bearings.
The main plummer block, made of cast steel, is completely immersed into the concrete, providing a very strong anchorage to the foundations thus enabling an operation free of vibrations which are dangerous to the machine and the diamond blades.
The main motor is powered through a soft starter to control the starting speed and time.
The connecting rod, made of high quality steel, guarantees a high resistance to the dynamic stresses generated.
The main frame is totally fabricated from high strength steel, dimensioned to guarantee an absolute rigidity and stability under load.
The sliding system is made of specially designed sliders, completely immersed in oil.
The motorized block carrying trolley enters the machine from the front side and is automatically locked to the lifting platform as it starts to lift. This lifting motion is driven by steel screws and alloyed nuts with trapezoidal threads, amply dimensioned. The sliders on the columns, prismatic and flat, are made of Teflon. The whole lifting system is protected by polyurethane bellows.
The lifting platform speed variation is achieved by a group of gearboxes and clutches controlled by an inverter.
The nuts and sliders of the lifting platform are equipped with safety devices that stop the machine as soon as the wear becomes excessive.
The machine stops automatically if there is a drop of pressure in the cooling water.
The main chassis is equipped with a set of steps and passage ways, anti-slip and anti-accidents with pipe rails all around, to allow access to the top part of the machine.

The technology:
Wire cutting machines are increasingly used for block cutting, mainly in hard stone, and for automatic cutting of curved shapes ( profiling and contouring ). They are based on a system of axes, each with a specific function. Each machine is equipped with a PC-based CNC which runs all system operations and manages the axes movements.
Main benefits of wire cutting:
Although tool costs for wire machines are still currently greater than those for the cutting wheel, the signs are reversed in terms of energy cost: wire machines have distinctly lower power consumption and the high cutting speed also partly compensates for the higher tool costs.
Because the wire is constantly in contact with the stone to be cut, the speed advantage is up to 30 percent depending on the material and the wire condition.

Axis X: horizontal trolley movement
Axis Y and V: vertical independent movements for the columns

The 2 and 4 axis models will provide the same cutting and contouring possibilities but the 4-axis works faster.
The main advantage of the 6-axis model is that it can cut helicoidal, conical and asymmetrical shapes thanks to its fully computerized 6 axis ECS CNC system which controls 6 brushless AC servo motors.
Features:
A PC-based CNC operates the entire system and manages the axes movements. The general management program includes fixed cycles and special executions. The input of data is very easy and the system allows for a graphic simulation of the profile,also showing the path of the tool. The starting point of the operations is from a block with automatic repositioning and the resolution of the tangential connections is done automatically. A RS-232 connector and a printer plug are installed on board.
The inverter allows for a variety of wire speeds and the cutting of both marble and granite at optimum speeds.

The wheel covers are made of aluminum composite panels and their structure is stainless steel. The stainless steel strip around the wheels prevents the diamond rope from getting tangled in the wheel in case it breaks.
All covers are in stainless steel.
The guides on the column are in stainless steel, hardened and then covered with hard chrome.
All axes are equipped with high precision ball-screw assembly

The HK-0102/A Block Cutter is fully automatic.
We put a block on the table, and we insert the parameter of width of tile to be cut (example: 2 cm), then the machine works automatically, it cuts the block with the specified width then the table moves to cut another tile from the block and so on until the block is finished.
We can also work manually with this machine.
It has 2 columns to support the weight and pressure of the machine; we can install a disk of 2000 mm of diameter.
The cutting process is controlled with an Inverter. The machine should be fixed on a Cement Base. It has an automatic hydraulic table.

The HK-0101/A Block Cutter is fully automatic.
We put a block on the table, and we insert the parameter of width of tile to be cut (example: 2 cm), then the machine works automatically, it cuts the block with the specified width then the table moves to cut another tile from the block and so on until the block is finished.
We can also work manually with this machine.
It has 1 column; we can install a disk of 1300 mm of diameter.
The cutting process is controlled with an Inverter. The machine should be fixed on a Cement Base. It has an automatic hydraulic table.

The HK-0103/A Block Cutter is fully automatic with 4 columns.
It can support a block with 25 tons of weight. It cuts the block in vertical and horizontal ways. The table goes out to take the block, and then the table will come back to the center of the machine and remain stable so that the machine starts to work and move to cut the block. We insert the parameter of width of tile to be cut (example: 2 cm) and the height of the tile to be cut, then the machine works automatically.
We can also work manually with this machine.
It has a complete PLC system.
