FLYER is a loading/unloading flying robot designed to handle stone slabs (marble, granite, or stone material). It can realize the “book match” process, reassembling them as they where before loading, without using rotating roller conveyor.
By using this robot on resin lines it is possible the direct loading of the slabs onto the trays. This option is extremely important in case of fragile or fractured material.
FLYER can be supplied with GRAB system which allows, in cooperation with suction cups, safe loading of travertine slabs and fragile materials.
FLYER is a further step of Prometec loaders. It has been designed for such cases where the available space on the ground is really small.
FLYER for loading operation, (such as for all automatic Prometec loading machines), is equipped with a detaching device avoiding to load two or more “stuck” slabs. More over this machine uses, during the loading operation, a weighing system which reduces the risk for loading more than one slab at a time.
All the movements of FLYER are controlled by means of inverter and by encoder, therefore all movements are extremely smooth and exact. FLYER is a machine easy to set up for any kind of requirements by means of a wide colors touch screen.
Versions:
FLYER 1200: standard model capable to serve most of processing line with needed speed and safety
FLYER 54: version with increased number of suction cups designed for fragile and delicate materials typical in resin lines
FLYER 80: version with maximum number of suction cups and twin vacuum pump for special materials and applications

Machinery Function Features:
GEKO is an automatic loader/unloader perfect for the automation of marble and granite processing lines. GEKO loads the slabs directly from the storage and places it on the motorized roller conveyor that feeds the processing line, allowing the “Book Match” processing. GEKO is operated by a CNC system and the motion is generated by brushless motors; the suction cups panel is able to perform rotations over 180 degrees.
GEKO is equipped with a motorized roller conveyor. This machine adopt some particular mechanical solutions, like linear roller guides and 49 anodized aluminum suction cups divided in 5 groups, and its functioning can be programmed with the integrated touch screen through a simple interface. All these features place GEKO amongst the best automatic slab loaders, for speed, precision and safety, also suitable for moving particularly fractured slabs. SOLVER is a an automatic loading carriage with titling table.
Its main feature is a frame equipped with 18 or 21 suction cups that have been placed optimizing the surface coverage of the slabs to load.
The suction cups frame is also equipped with its own hydraulic or pneumatic movement able to roto- translate the slab towards the roller table. This movement, called “leaf”, has been designed to allow the slab to be detached from the next one and can be excluded by operator terminal.
This carriage is supplied with touch screen control panel to set up all parameters. An ultra sonic sensor is detecting the carriage positioning. The carriage is moved by means gearmotor, inverter controlled, for a precise and delicate loading of slabs.
The automatic operation of the carriage runs by means of sensors: they check the position of the machine, the presence or absence of slab and the connection with the roller conveyor.
All these operations are stood over by means of last generation PLC system.
SOLVER carriage is available with increased payload of 1,500 kg or 2,500 kg.
It is also available the model equipped with rotating suction cups frame to operate lines where the slab supports are placed onto their own axe.

The Helios Research & Development Department has conceived the Robo-Move system as a cutting assistant, which avoids the operator a manual heavy work. It is a slab handling system, which helps the unloading of the pieces, ensuring the integrity of the materials while the machine is working. The patented Robo-Move system is a cnc handling girder that works independently inside the working area of the machine.
