Church Hill Soapstone

The name Church Hill Reserve pays tribute to the place where the soapstone is harvested, a hill in Virginia where a little church is tucked away. Its general coloration is the darkest of any soapstone—we actually call it black soapstone. Most veining tends to be dark too, although white quartzite or calcite veining is rare. This stone is especially good for Countertops, monuments, mosaic, exterior - interior wall and floor applications, fountains, pool and wall capping, stairs, window sills and other design projects. It also called Alberene Soapstone, Churchill Soapstone, Virginia Soapstone . Church Hill Soapstone can be processed into Polished, Sawn Cut, Sanded, Rockfaced, Sandblasted, Tumbled and so on.
