Most quartzite slabs cost between $50 and $120 a square foot. The average slab size is roughly 120 inches by 77 inches, making the average cost of an entire slab between $3,200 to $7,680. Some projects only require one slab, others require less than one slab, and some require two slabs.

Quartzite tends to be more expensive than it, with granite starting at roughly $50 per square foot. You get what you pay for, though; while quartzite and quartz both cost more, granite is the softest of the three. It's also quite porous and requires even more sealing than quartzite.
