Quarried in the Provincia di Barletta-Andria-Trani, located in western Puglia, Italy, Trani Biancone is often mistaken for marble due to its remarkable aesthetic qualities. However, it is classified as a limestone according to petrography and mineralogy. Despite this distinction, Trani Biancone remains highly esteemed in the stone market for its timeless beauty and versatility.
Trani Biancone Marble is compactness and the color not white but darker dots mixed with some cream. It is available in slabs with honed, brushed, polished finishes and recommended for interior and exterior projects in freezing climates including flooring, landscaping, walls and countertops.
