For over thirty years, Arnold Stone has provided clients with the highest quality natural stone products available. With four quarry/fabrication sites in Blum, Tolar, Gordon, and Abilene, Texas, Arnold Stone has gained a reputation as one of the leading natural building stone quarriers and fabricators in the southern United States.
Arnold Stone subdivides its quarries into three distinct production areas: the split-face division, architectural stone division, and thin veneer division. Over the past fifteen years, split-face stone has gained wide-spread popularity as a veneer building material. In response, Arnold Stone has increased its production capacity to satisfy the ever-growing demand for its split-face products. Currently, Arnold Stone fabricates over 100 different natural stone products from its four facilities for use in commercial, residential, and development construction.
Split-face materials increasingly appear in commercial construction where owners attempt to create upscale curb-appeal for their tenants. This may be the largest growth sector for natural stone veneer in recent years. Although economic factors have forced a consolidation in many residential builders, residential construction continues to consume high volumes of natural stone for both interior and exterior purposes. Exterior veneer, interior and exterior fireplaces, and natural stone incorporated in kitchens and bathrooms mark the trend with residential builders. Natural stone not only has graced the exterior of homes, but it also has found its way to the entrance features, screen walls, and interior lot walls in residential subdivisions.
