Company Description
We are a family run business based in Southern Albania, with over 25 years experience in mining and supplying premium Marble and Decorative Stone to Europe including regions such as; United Kingdom; also, Southern France and Italy. In 2012 we acquired the rights to a new Quarry, which has so far been very successful, thus plans are in progress to open even more Quarries in similar sites.
Y. Salla owns the rights to the region where our Quarry is located and stone sourced, this Quarry is under joint license with Marble-UK however we also have continuous operations with an additional two Quarries in Italy; Portugal; Greece and Turkey and joint contracts with worldwide Quarries, ensuring we always have the variety and volume of stock required to meet our clients needs.
Saimir Zejneli recently established our London office expanding our services to further western markets. Marble-UK imports our unique Albanian stone to worldwide clients, the history of the stone, is in itself rather unique: The ancient town of Butrinti located in South Albania, which was one of the major centres of the Greek tribe Chaonians, and first settled in 10th Century BC, was primarily built from the same stone sourced in our region. Albania is very rich in construction materials, specifically Marble, but also with copious reserves of Oil, Steel and Copper.
