Sterling Granite Ltd. was founded in 2007 by Sid Goebel. Sid was introduced to the stone industy by his father in British Columbia and apprenticed under him for a number of years before bringing his knowlegdge home to Winnipeg and opening a shop of his own. In the early days Sid was no stranger to garage fabrication and had to rely on his hands on skills and ingenuity to get the job done.
