Portugal's leading marble quarry producer since 1928, SOLUBEMA owns the famous "Vigaria" deposit, from which it extracts more than 1,000 cubic meters of marbles of exceptional fineness on a monthly basis. Its capacity and organization allow it to also exploit deposits of classical marbles located in France and Belgium.
With a top-notch management and a highly qualified staff, the company ETMA, also established on the site of Vigaria, is the factory of transformation and shaping of the group. Powerfully equipped and subject to a constant technological update, it is able to carry out architectural projects around the world. In addition to Vigaria marble, the company works in particular with stones and marbles from France and Belgium.
The limited company of MERBES-SPRIMONT, founded in 1779, is the oldest marble company in Europe. It is the exclusive producer of the famous "Black Fine" and "Royal Red" marbles of Belgium, marbles with innumerable references inseparable from the French architectural history (The Louvre, The Palace of Versailles, The Castle of Vaux-le-Vicomte, The Opera Garnier, etc ...).
