As the name suggests, POSH is a high quality, designer kitchen and bath showroom, but with an eye on value. Unlike most retail or wholesale showrooms, we take responsibility for the whole process including layout & design, product selections, product procurement, and shipping. Ron Benkin, the owner of Posh, spent the first 30 years of his career mastering every part of the kitchen and bath industry. After helping to build the largest "Design/Build" remodeling company in the U.S. as their Vice President and partner, Ron decided to open his own company. Posh provides the safety, security, and knowledge of a large company with the personal touch and owner involvement of a boutique neighborhood store. Our 2,000 square foot design center located in Huntington NY features all of the products you'll need to complete your remodel. Along with the many tile and flooring options, Quartz and Granite counter top products, cabinet hardware and such, the showroom exclusively features Ron’s favorite Cabinetry line, St. Martin America. An all wood, top quality cabinet from Cressona, PA that competes with the most high end of cabinet lines, for a fraction of the cost.
In 2005, Ron had the vision to utilize the "Modular" method of off-site construction and combine it with on-site built custom kitchens and baths. Modular home construction has been gaining in popularity for many years now, with people realizing the advantages of building off site in a factory setting, then trucking the home to the construction site and craning it onto the awaiting foundation. It's built better and costs less. Modular factories are experts in construction, but most home owners realize that their kitchen is an expression of who they are. Kitchens & bathrooms are personal and should be designed for the family, not only the space. At Posh, we can build you a brand new custom modular home or a custom modular second story to transform your one story home into a colonial with the speed and precision of Modular Construction. We then install your custom kitchen and/or baths on site utilizing resources like our showroom and design staff to select products and provide you with the dream kitchen and baths you want and deserve. We take the guess work and the hassle away from you by designing the space, generating plans and handling the permit process with your local building department.
